We have recently purchased main dealer level diagnostic equipment for these brands allowing us to offer main dealer levels of diagnostic repairs. JAGUAR WORLD MAGAZINE takes a shine to our Daimler. November 2008
JAGUAR WORLD MONTHLY magazine meet up with ourselves back in November in preparation for an article to be published in the February edition featuring our Award wining Daimler restoration project. Executive Editor Jim Patten made a special visit to look over our handy work and test drive our 35 year old Series II Daimler in preparation for the article. We are currently preparing a dedicated web page detailing the vehicles history, restoration, awards and media coverage.
Daimler Restoration Project wins 2 awards. July & August 2008
The Jagaur Enthusiast Club have recently awarded our 1973 Daimler Series II Restoration Project Car two awards. The first of the awards was presented by the South East JEC for the best "Bonnets Up" catagory at the July 2008 members club meeting. The second of the awards was presented by actor Laurence Fox, (Son of actor James Fox) known for his role as DS James Hathaway, the assistant of DCI Lewis (Kevin Whatlely) in the ITV Drama Series "Lewis". The Daimler won the "Best in Class" catagory at the Jaguar Enthusiast Club's XK60 anniversary weekend held at Cowdray Park and Goodwood Race Track in August 2008. Over 1,000 Jaguars attended the 60th anniversary of the XK120 & XK engine and stars including Murray Walker, Norman Dewis, Sir Sirling Moss & Billy Piper delighted the crowds over the three day event.
